A Victorian Tea for Ladies & Gentlemen
Ladies and gentlemen, You are invited to partake of a "dish of tea." Interesting if inane fact: tea was drunk from a dish or saucer when first introduced as a beverage in England.

About the event
The Cape May Community Food Closet, with the generous support of Cape May Presbyterian Church, is holding a Victorian Tea.
- Date: February 11, 2022 (Friday)
- Time: 12pm to 3pm
- Location: Kiwanis Club, 1041 Beach Avenue, Cape May
- Cost: $20 per person - includes: a variety of tea, traditional scones with jam and cream, a savory course of finger sandwiches ending with a selection of sweets.
Activities include a tea cup exchange (bring a tea cup to give to a friend and take home a new tea cup to love) and a Vintage Hat Contest (judged by Pastor Nicole of Cape May Presbyterian).
Only 40 tickets will be sold so that our host facility will be at 50% capacity, allowing for lots of room to safely chat and mingle.
We will be accepting food donations as well as financial support at the event, so please plan to give if you can. All proceeds benefit the Food Closet.
